It doesnt change the rail pressure ( 30,000 lb !!!! is standard, and I know the 2.5 litre Nissans are 32,000 lb ) Its a very simple plug in job and takes about 10 minutes to fit ( I have always done my own mechanicing and Im an electrical engineer) It functions by modifying the injection timing AND the duration of injection. I just trained my self to do a quick gear change if I need to go. The little 2 litre has gobs of power and torque AND lots of turbo lag under about 1750 RPM. The chip is german and specifically engineered to fit, BUT it is also adjustable as to performance. My engine is a mercedes 2litre twin cam 4 valver common rail It lasted in the car for 260 kliks!!! Its now back in its origional packaging White smoke when idling cold ( first start up) HUGE power increase to the point that it was dangerous in the wet!!!Īlmost complete reduction in turbo lag, which was why I fitted it in the firstplace Please notice my signature at the bottom of this post !!!!!
